All
around the valley there are people, dogs, even horses
that are moving better
with the help of a little
sound support – in the form of a technology that
uses sound waves for healing.
What effects have users reported? Elana
Durbin formally of The Eastside Book Café appreciated
the help she got from the sound machine after burning her hand
pretty badly. She could barely move her fingers until she applied
the sound waves for about 20 minutes and was then able to make
a fist. Three days later the scabs were gone, hair was growing
on the new skin and her brand new tattoo was fine. “I
was really amazed and grateful at how dramatically the sound
waves worked to help my burn heal,” she said. And
she has virtually no scar. Cinnamon,
a lab mix, had serious abrasions on all 4 legs, down to her
joints from a bad accident. “Two weeks after
her emergency surgeries, the wound on her front paw was black
and appeared dead,” said her owner, Chris Pennington. “Our
vet suggested amputation, but I wanted to try the sound machine
before I made such a drastic choice.” During Cinnamon’s
next check up, after 5 sound applications, the edges of the
wound were pink and she didn’t try to protect her
paw the way she had before. Today she has all 4 legs. Horses
have also benefited. Cherokee, a 20+ year old gelding severed
his hind leg tendon. He received 2-3 sound applications
a day and after 2 months was running without limping. Ron
Butts, his farrier said, “The sound machine really made a huge
difference. Cherokee had a much faster recovery than I’ve
seen in similarly injured horses who just get traditional
care.” Carol
Neu, who owns a sound machine, had her own personal experience
that has made her an even more zealous believer. “In
2005 I broke my ankle and needed surgery. I was evaluated for
surgery 18 hours after I broke it and wasn’t swollen.
There was a yellow, healed bruise where my Fibula had split
open. A few hours later the doctors used 11 screws and a plate
to repair it. I didn’t need pain pills after 5 days and
was walking after 8 week instead of the original estimate of
3-6 months. Today I have full joint function with no side effects.” She
believes that using the sound machine in the emergency
room kept her from swelling, which meant she could have
surgery
right away, which made it possible for her bones to heal
properly from the start. How does it work? According to discoveries made at USC several
years ago, our body consists of cells that naturally vibrate
at different frequencies. Each cell vibrates with its own distinct
frequency and when disease develops, the frequency at which
a cell vibrates can change. Microvibrations at specific resonances
can restore capillary action allowing the body to deliver more
blood and lymph fluids while removing more toxins and inflammatory
byproducts, and promote a natural healing process. These sound
waves are gentle and painless to apply. The end result reported
by many users is reduction of inflammation, bruising and pain. Carol Neu has been making the sound machine available to people,
dogs and horses since 2004. If you would like to learn more
